golden globes...best dressed...

it's no secret that i love watching the glamour of any awards show's red carpet. i could really care less about the awards themselves... i just want to see what and who is being worn. the 2011 awards season has really started out well... so many amazing dresses were worn last night. usually i find myself yawning and being bored by the choices... not this time! color was definitely huge... greens, oranges, pinks, and many neutral shades... however black was probably seen the least... and i love that. don't get me wrong... black is a great color for evening gowns... but it's just so safe. and the one shoulder look was also seen frequently... some pulled it off... some didn't. (in my opinion)

my top 6 best dressed at the Golden Globes...

Lea Michele in Oscar De La Renta. The pink/peach shade is so flattering.

Leighton Meester in Burberry. I love the long sleeves, front slit, the champange color. This dress is gorgeous and Leighton wears it well.

Jennifer Lawrence in Louis Vuitton. The texture, color, and detail... fabulous.

January Jones in Versace. Not many woman can pull of the cut-out look so flawlessly.

Claire Danes in Calvin Klein. I'm a huge fan of pink, and you don't see it on the red carpet very often. I love this, and she wears it very well.

Emma Stone in Calvin Klein T-shirt collection. It goes without saying, but I've always been a huge fan of Calvin Klein. And this red carpet made me fall more in love with the designer. This dress is so simple but so beautifully worn.

clearly, i was a huge fan of the warm colors that were being worn... it's not often that you see these colors on the red carpet. and in the off chances that you do, they are usually very promesque...

i'm looking forward to more fabulously fashionable red carpets in 2011. stay tuned for more reviews...

have a wonderful day dolls! xoxo.

p.s. keep checking back... amrie boutique will be dropping some exciting news soon! <3
